sā Ladakh: Beauty with a Purpose

Attending the second edition of the sā festival this year was extraordinary. Dedicated to landscapes, environment, and communities, sā connects climate optimists of all ages. The environmentally conscious art made from recycled materials fosters sustainability, diversity, and inclusion.

Infinity in a Box by Ikshit Pande and Jasmeet Kaur uses 100% silk, repurposed textile waste and wooden logs. Through conceptual dress-making, it explores hyper-consumerism, community-carrying capacity, and the majestic mountain geography, engaging local communities and threading thought-provoking narratives using the body and the message.
